Beginning CrossFit at 19 after a year out of being a year round high school athlete was just what I needed. In starting CrossFit I began to find a community of people that enjoyed the torturous workouts like I did and pushed to be better than what I thought I could. After 13 years of CrossFit with the majority of those years participating in multiple local competitions and the CrossFit open I have a good understanding of what it means to push your own limits to meet goals. Last year was my first year making it to the CF Games quarterfinals round and that is something I am proud of.
Now I work to bring that feeling of accomplishment to every athlete that I coach regardless of their personal goal. You want to lift heavier weights? Got you.
